Because it is metals being used for casting, they can be obtained in many desirable densities. Weight intern decides the volume and size. So, the density of steel casting is also a very important property which must be properly quoted at the time of ordering.

One thing about the casting materials is that a perfect design and model is definitely needed and adds to clarity for both the manufacturer and customer. Prototypes and patterns in the steel castings are a necessity for perfection. They clearly define the thickness and shape of the final product and give a feel of the product to the purchaser.
